Rabbits and Guinea Pigs

At this time of year when the weather is very warm, rabbits and guinea pigs are very vulnerable to heat stroke. Hutches can become unbearably hot, even in shaded areas. So please check your pet’s regularly, and move hutches to cooler areas, even indoors if the weather is very hot. Also flystrike is an unfortunately common occurrence too. Rabbits are especially prone to this, so please be extra vigilant and check them daily.

What You’re Saying

I was very happy with the care my cats received…the vet gave me a great deal of time and treated my girls like his own. I also received a lot of help from the head nurse who gave me a diet plan to follow which has helped them lose weight. They are now a lot healthier and much more active.
